As you move closer to the start of the school year, keep Churchill’s statement in mind. Continuous effort, always trying…that is the key to finding your path. Seek ways, no matter how small, to improve upon yourself from last year. Writing papers, completing problem sets, doing well on tests…all of these things come from diligent and consistent effort. Skills improve with more practice not with more intelligence.
